Mobile Sync - Overview

Before you start synchronising your PDA, consider the following schedule of when and what you should be synchronising.

Daily Schedule

1. After creating your sales orders for the day, you need to synchronise them:

• "Quick Order Synchronise and Download Confirmations".

Weekly Schedule

1. As data (i.e. items and debtors) are created and changed in Micronet, you need to synchronise these changes to your PDA:

• Download the data files to your PDA - refer to "Downloading Data Files via FTP"
• Synchronise the data files on your PDA - refer to "Mobile Sync - Data".

2. As orders build up on your PDA, you need to purge the old confirmed orders out:

• See the Purge field in "Full Order Synchronise".

Special Instructions

1. Under instructions from management, you may be required to update the Micronet Mobile programs on your PDA:

• "Synchronising Program Files via FTP".
